the so-called suite I stayed in had absolutely no soundproofing—what a surprise, right? i almost expected a red carpet, but instead i got a bouncy bed that felt like a spring disaster. the breakfast was basic, yet surprisingly underwhelming. and honestly, a complimentary upgrade would’ve been nice instead of feeling like a regular guest, really disappointing!

Comfortable bed with nice decor.
I found it challenging to reach the hotel from the train station, as it involved a steep 20-minute walk uphill with luggage. Additionally, the coffee and juice served at breakfast were quite poor, which was disappointing. The bathroom setup was inconvenient, requiring a walk down the corridor, making it less ideal for my needs during my stay.

Charming Experience with a Touch of Nature
A delightful stay in a beautifully renovated villa! The expansive room offered stunning views over Coimbra, and the breakfasts were a delightful mix of hot and cold options. A lovely terrace for evening breezes would elevate the experience even more. Prepare for hilly walks around town!

I enjoyed my stay in a spacious suite with amazing views and comfortable furnishings. However, the bathroom was inconveniently located, requiring a walk down the corridor, and the quality of breakfast items, specifically coffee and juice, could use improvement. The location was excellent for those looking to explore the area on foot, but prepare for hilly walks.

I enjoyed my time here. The location made it easy to explore on foot. The breakfast had a variety of options. One morning I had baked beans, which was a nice touch. I appreciated the historic building, which was a reminder of my love for art and history. My room had a large window with great views. It complemented my exploration of this historic region.
There were some issues with the bathroom setup. It required extra steps to access it, which was inconvenient.
